============================================================================== International workshop on ``Hadron structure and interaction in dense matter" (Satellite workshop of QNP2018) (Dates) November 11(Sun) - 12(Mon), 2018 (Place) KEK Tokai campus, Tokai 1st building, Room 116 (Web) http://j-parc-th.kek.jp/workshops/2018/11-11/ The international workshop on hadron physics, which is held as a pre-workshop of QNP2018, will take place at KEK Tokai campus in November. This workshop will be focused on hadron physics at finite density. The main topics will be "Hadrons and resonances in nuclei/matter", "Strangeness and charm in nuclei/matter" and "Cold and dense matter equation of state". In addition, hadron physics conducted at J-PARC and related issues will be discussed. --------------------------------------- Topics to be discussed --------------------------------------- * Hadrons and resonances in nuclei/matter * Strangeness and charm in nuclei/matter * Cold and dense matter equation of state *** Remark *** This workshop is NOT restricted to so-called "dense matter" physics. Any nuclear systems at finite density, including normal density and finite nuclear systems, will be discussed. --------------------------------------- Presentations --------------------------------------- The organizers have arranged invited talks related to the main topics to be discussed in the workshop. A small number of slots for additional talks are available. These will be selected from the contributed abstracts. The abstracts not selected for a talk can be presented in the poster session. --------------------------------------- Invited Speakers (as of Jul. 30) --------------------------------------- Kazuya Aoki (KEK) Gordon Baym (Illinois Univ.) (See "Travel information" in the website.) --------------------------------------- Transportation to Tsukuba for QNP2018 --------------------------------------- We will charter a bus to move directly from the workshop site to the center of Tsukuba. Using our chartered bus is the BEST AND MOST CONVENIENT way to move to Tsukuba, because public transportation from Tokai to Tsukuba is complicated and takes time. We strongly recommend you to use this bus. The bus will depart the workshop site after the last session of the workshop. It will take about 90 minutes from Tokai to Tsukuba. The fee is about 2,000~3,000 yen, depending on the number of people using the bus. More details will be announced in the next circular. --------------------------------------- Registration / Fees --------------------------------------- There is no registration fee; however, we collect 500 yen for coffee and snacks. We will have a get-together party in the evening of Nov. 11. The fee for this party will be about 3,500 yen. We will prepare lunch boxes for Nov. 11 and 12. We recommend to reserve these lunch boxes because there is no restaurant in the vicinity of the workshop site. A lunch box costs 500 yen. Please pay the fees for coffee, party, lunch boxes and the chartered bus at the registration desk. If you are interested in participating in the workshop, please send the following registration form by email. ============================================ ***** Registration form ***** -------- cut --------- To: HadronTokai2018_loc[AT]ml.post.kek.jp Subject: Hadron Tokai 2018-11, Registration 1.
